A lead generation is the first phase of a sales process and a vital component of CRM applications. Lead conversion allows you to take the information of qualified leads and convert
it into a sales opportunity, a contact or a customer record without having to re enter the information of a lead multiple times.
1. To convert a lead to an account , contact, opportunity , etc. , first locate the lead and then lead details.
2. Click the button from lead details screen -> Convert.
3. After you finish filling in the lead conversion information click Convert.
